Marc Toland

Founder and CEO

Marc Toland is an inventor and entrepreneur who began his career 27 years ago as a stockbroker at a major NYSE firm. He is married with three children. In 2011 three little girls and their grandparents died in a horrific Christmas morning fire, Mr. Toland and his family were awakened by the sirens racing to the scene. It happened down the street from his home. It is his personal crusade to raise awareness to fire safety and to bring lifesaving products to market and prevent tragedies like these from ever happening again.

An architect of multiple companies, Toland has been published by the United States Patent and Trademark Office and holds patent pending intellectual property filed with the USPTO.

With more than 25 years in business development, Mr. Montagnino has extensive experience advising insurance industry and property management companies.

In addition, he has a background in business law, including patent and trademark portfolio growth and has experience managing and executing startups from inception through exit strategy.

Nationally acclaimed speaker, blogger and family safety expert Alison Jacobson, better known as The Safety Mom, has dedicated her life to educating parents about health and safety issues that affect not only themselves, but everyone in their family.

Over the years Alison has worked as a spokesperson for some of the world’s leading brands including COX Communications, Toyota, Coca-Cola, AT&T, Johnson & Johnson, Unilever, Proctor & Gamble and Sylvania. Prior to her role in the child safety area, Alison was SVP at Weber Shandwick, one of the world’s largest PR firms, where she led business development initiatives for Fortune 500 companies and developed rebranding campaigns and launch programs for numerous consumer brands.

Jeff is a well-rounded, senior executive with more than 40 years of retail channel experience, including more than 25 years of CE consulting experience. His retail experience includes key merchandising positions with office products superstore, computer specialty stores and department stores. His vast consulting career includes working on a wide variety of projects for hardware, peripheral, accessory, and software vendors as well as service providers, and for companies ranging from pre-revenue start-ups to Fortune 500.

Morgan’s experience in product launches, developing retail sell-through strategies, developing sales and marketing strategies has been invaluable for Safer Alarms Inc.
